Inflow, a provider of hosting, co-location and datacenter management solutions, has helped establish the Data Center Markup Language (DCML) Organization.

Recently launched, the organization is a collaborative effort, chartered with driving the DCML specification…the first vendor-neutral standard to bring IT system interoperability and utility computing to data centers.

As a founding member of the DCML Organization, Inflow will be able to use its process foundation to assist the group in creating process frameworks, workflows, and baselines that can be utilized by all IT organizations. I

Inflow says it will focus on ensuring that the inputs to the DCML blueprint and the ongoing maintenance procedures are consistent with IT processes and best practices.

Founded in 1997, Inflow opened its first Internet Data Center (IDC) in June 1998 and currently serves more than 800 customers from its IDCs in 12 markets throughout the country, including Raleigh.
