Witness Systems, a provider of performance optimization software, reported a loss of $2.5 million, or 11 cents per share, in the most recent quarter.
Witness (Nasdaq: WITS) said it had income of $27.9 million for the third quarter, and $74.5 million through three quarters. So far this year the firm has lost $18.5 million, or 84 cents a share.
