Entrepreneurs, business leaders and investors from around the country are expected to turn out in Atlanta today for the “Georgia Technology Celebration.”

The event, which was put together by the Technology Association of Georgia and other groups, is expected to be a sellout.

Among the day’s highlights is an investor’s forum featuring a number of Georgia startup firms.

The TAG also unveiled a new web site today, featuring a significant amount of new content and a history of technology development in Georgia.

“The new site has a wealth of content designed to seize the momentum from the Technology Celebration and attract new TAG members from around the state in record numbers,” said Richard Warner, president of What’s Up, the company that developed the site.

“Tagoline.org has more content than ever, including an extensive white paper and research section submitted by TAG member companies; more than 30 minutes of streaming video and audio; a fully developed “History of TAG” section that includes a PDF of the history of Georgia technology; newly research links to Georgia media outlets and resources for entrepreneurs.”

The web site also includes a new portal environment donated to TAG by Computer Associates.

“This is a complex undertaking that is still in development,” Warner said, “but TAG members will get a feel for what’s to come once CA’s powerful system is in place.”
