Campbell Alliance, a management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, has made Inc. magazine’s 23rd annual list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the country.

Ranking 171st, Raleigh-based Campbell has five-year sales growth of 968 percent, according to the list. Known as the Inc. 500, the rankings will appear in a special issue due on newsstands Oct. 14.

John Campbell, president of Campbell Alliance, is proud of his company’s standing on the Inc. 500 list.

“It’s an honor to be number 171 in our first year of eligibility,” stated Campbell. “I consider it a tribute to the dedication of our team of consultants and the loyalty of our client base.”

While Campbell is pleased with his company’s achievements since founding it six years ago, he continues to look ahead.

“My vision then was to build a firm that offered something truly different to pharmaceutical clients…a consulting firm that deeply understands the industry and the discrete functions within it,” Campbell recounts. “–That vision and our commitment to service are the reasons we’ve grown so impressively. Today, we continue to find new ways to add value for our clients.”

Campbell Alliance’s clientele includes many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as numerous emerging and midsize firms. Its team of 70 people operates from two locations…headquarters in Raleigh and a regional office in Parsippany, NJ. The firm serves clients throughout the US, Canada, and Europe and plans to open additional regional offices in the near future.
