Mi-Co, a developer of software for digital writing and data capture, has formed a strategic alliance with Appingo, which is based in Boston.
Appingo develops digital writing technology. Appingo also works with digital pen technology developed by Logitech, as does Mi-Co.
“The knowledge and experience of Appingo personnel in the area of digital writing, with special emphasis on Anoto functionality and the Logitech io Pen is an exellent addition to the Mi-Co Alliance program,” said Barrett Joyner, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Mi-Co.
Steve Hewett, founder and chief executive officer of Appingo, said several of the firm’s customers were evaluating Mi-Co enterprise technology and added that “key implementations” will be announced “later this quarter.”
