Reflex Security has appointed Sam Walker as senior vice president of sales and marketing for the company.
Walker’s mission will be to develop and execute sales, business development and marketing strategies to establish Reflex as a leader in the Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems space, the company says.
“The IT security market is becoming increasingly strategic as the stakes for companies continue to escalate as malicious activities grow in sophistication and frequency,” said Jim Watson, president and CEO at Reflex. “The time was perfect for us to select an exceptional sales and marketing executive to lead our efforts in driving market demand for our next- generation security technology.”
Prior to joining Reflex, Walker served as vice-president of sales and business development for Q1 Labs, an early stage enterprise security software technology company.
Walker was previously director of partner development and alliances for Internet Security Systems in Atlanta, where Reflex is also based.
