MercuryMD, a healthcare focused software company, has landed another MData customer, Baptist Health Care (BHC) of Pensacola, FL.
A VHA member, BHC is the largest health care system in northwest Florida and previously named one of the nation’s “100 Most Wired” hospitals and health care systems by the American Hospital Association’s journal, Hospitals & Health Networks.
MData Enterprise System from RTP-based MercuryMD integrates hospital data and delivers patient information directly to clinicians’ handheld devices. This data can include up-to-date patient census lists, demographics, laboratory results, diagnostic reports, medication lists, consults and other transcribed reports.
Most recently, in August, the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is selected MData, preceded by seven other healthcare providers in the second quarter of 2003.
