In the latest edition of the Biotech Show, RTP-TV talks with Richard Kouri, CEO of Ercole Biotech, a spin-out firm from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Kouri talks about the start-up’s partnership earlier this year with Isis Pharmaceuticals as well as the future developments for their RNA splicing technology that will help fight cancer and other diseases.

As they seek a $10 million round in 2004, Kouri also tells RTP-TV about his experiences of leading nine other biotech firms and why he believes that Ercole could be the biggest success yet by creating some exciting new treatments for diseases using splicing techniques.

In its Technology & Business Interview, RTP-TV profiles Oculan Networks of Raleigh. The company will talk about its “purple box” solutions for mid-sized firms and their networks.
