Audio imaging company Muzak LLC has named former America Online (AOL) executive Lon Otremba as president.
Most recently, Otremba was executive vice president of AOL’s Interactive Marketing Group, responsible for developing and leading the short and long-term strategy and operations for advertising and e-commerce business turnaround.
Otremba previously held various senior executive management positions at CNET Networks and Easylink Services, where he helped launch both companies. He also held senior management positions at Ziff Davis Publishing and CMP Media.
In addition to Otremba’s appointment as president, Muzak is elevating Bill Boyd to the role of chairman of the Board.
