Ephinay Corp. has named Dennis Chookaszian, retired chairman and chief executive officer of CNA Insurance, to serve on the its board of directors.
Chookaszian also served as chief financial officer of CAN. Prior to his time there, he was a management consultant with Deloitte & Touche. He became a CPA in 1971.
Currently, Chookaszian serves several institutions, including three public company boards: Career Education Corp., Sapient and InsWeb. He is also a member of a number of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Accounting Standards Board Financial Instruments Task Force, and the Public Oversight Board – Panel on Audit Effectiveness.
