Xenicent, a manufacturer of LED displays, says business is improving.
The company posted sales for the three months ended June 30 that were 261 percent more than the first quarter in 2003. Sales for the second quarter were $705,511. For the six months ended June 30, sales were $974,903.
Average dollar volume per sale also increased to $100,000 due to several large projects being delivered during the quarter.
“We are continuing to see upward sales trends in 2003,” said Duane Bennett, president and chief executive officer of Xenicent. “We have been very aggressively marketing our products in several new arenas during the first two quarters and these efforts are beginning to be reflected in our sales figures. We expect the LED display system market to continue to grow rapidly and we are attempting to capture a significant portion of the market.”
Xenicent, based in Charlotte, owns 60 percent of Giantek Technology Corp. in Taiwan. Their current customer base includes the Taiwanese and Turkish stock exchanges, railway terminals, several airports and many major sports facilities.
