Inovis, a provider of business commerce automation solutions, has selected Ilaria Derr as the company’s new president and chief operating officer.

Derr was most recently COO for Alogent, a privately held technology company providing payment processing solutions for global financial institutions and remittance processors. Under Derr’s leadership, notable revenue growth was achieved for Alogent while building an operation.

Prior to Alogent, Derr was COO of Ockham Technologies, an early stage technology company providing web-based software solutions for sales management automation. She provided executive leadership to secure over $10M investment funding.

Derr also has held several senior management roles in large to medium corporations, including Harland, GE’s Spare Parts and Services division and GE’s Power Systems and Aircraft Engines businesses.

“Ilaria brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company,” said Jim Schaper, chairman and chief executive officer of Inovis in Atlanta. “She is a seasoned executive with outstanding operational expertise and established credibility in the software industry. Given our aggressive plans for this year and beyond, the timing of her arrival couldn’t have been better.”
