Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies (GL&SCS) magazine has named several regional firms to its annual ranking of the industry’s 100 Great Supply Chain Partners.
Four Atlanta-based firms made the list. They are Agilisys, Logility, Manhattan Associates and UPS.
The list also includes Cary-based BridgePoint and IBM, which has a large concentration of workers in the Research Triangle Park. Rounding out the firm was Insight Inc. of Manassas, VA.
The report on 100 Great Supply Chain Partners is the result of a six-month poll of readers in which GL&SCS asked logistics and supply-chain professionals to nominate the vendors and service providers that made the most significant impact on efficiency, customer service, and overall supply-chain performance.
Nominee firms span technology, logistics, transportation, and consulting offerings.
“We went straight to the customer…hands-down the best measure of performance…to create this list,” said Brad Berger, publisher of GL&SCS in Great Neck, NY. “Nominees who received the most nominations appear on the final list.”
The complete list of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies’ 100 Great Supply Chain Partners appears in the August 2003 issue of the magazine and on the website.
