Looking Glass Networks will provide Verizon Global Networks with a dark fiber for locations in three large U.S. markets.

These markets include Atlanta, Seattle and Chicago, where Looking Glass is based in the suburb of Oak Brook, IL.

Verizon has chosen to utilize the DarkGLASS services from Looking Glass in these markets, said Lynn Refer, chief executive officer of the company.

“Looking Glass’ dark fiber solutions cost effectively support the range of services desired by Verizon,” stated Refer. “Because we build, own and maintain our networks, we … can bring the dark fiber and fiber infrastructure Verizon needs.”

With current connectivity to more than 350 buildings, Looking Glass offers lit, dark fiber and collocation services in 12 of the largest U.S. metro markets.
