Lodestone Digital, a digital media consulting and training company, has reached a partnership agreement with WebWare Corp. of Sausalito, CA.
Lodestone will support WebWare’s ActiveMedia enterprise digital asset management solutions through implementation and professional services. The companies will partner in deploying ActiveMedia’s line of solutions, including Enterprise and Access, a digital asset management (DAM) system for under $50,000.
Under the terms of the agreement, Lodestone will deliver enterprise solutions, including installation and deployment services. Users will receive custom services that include integration, UI development, XML/SOAP development, knowledge transfer and training.
Lodestone chose WebWare as its DAM partner for several reasons, according to its president, Josh Cavalier. First among those was that ActiveMedia offers an open architecture that enables it to integrate well with third-party technologies such as Adobe Graphics Server.
“That’s important to us because our focus is on helping clients make the best use of the best tools to enhance creativity and productivity in digital media creation and distribution,” said Cavalier. “This open architecture also accommodates cross-media solutions, enabling us to focus on workflow issues without restrictions introduced by proprietary software systems.”
Formerly known as Interactive Fun, Lodestone is certified as Adobe and Macromedia Trainers. The Charlotte-based company has trained thousands of students on various cross-media software tools information, it says.
