Internap Network Services Corp. (Nasdaq: INAP), a provider of routing services over the Internet, has landed a contract with one of Japan’s largest publishing companies.

Internap Japan Co. Ltd. will provide Internet services to Shueisha, which is based in Tokyo. Internap’s global headquarters are in Atlanta.

Shueisha will use Internap as the backbone for its popular “Jump Land” web experience, which features the comic “Dragon Ball” from the magazine “Shonen Jump.”

“Jump Land” provides an interactive, creative platform for Internet communications, including chat rooms and bulletin boards. It is the official hosting site for both “Dragon Ball” and another recently introduced comic, “One Piece.”
