Enzo Signore, a Cisco executive speaking at a networking conference in New York on Tuesday, said broadband technologies appears to be a growing market.
“All the key drivers for growth are coming together and that means growth for us,” Enzo Signore, a senior marketing director, said at the Pacific Crest Securities conference, according to Dow Jones. Signore cited increased competition and maturing technologies as a reason for more demand by cable operators seeking to offer additional broadband services.
Among the firms driving up competition in broadband are the regional bell operating companies, Signore said, according to the report. He also pointed out that some cable providers are offering telephony services.
