AirDefense and Fortress Technologies will be working together to improve defenses for wireless local area networks, the firms said Tuesday.
A primary target is Wi-Fi standard technology being deployed by government agencies and enterprise networks.
The companies said they will offer encryption, authentication, rogue detection and other services.
Both firms plan to coordinate sales and marketing efforts.
AirDefense also will incorporate “AirFortress” wireless LAN encryption and authentication applications.
