CONCORD,Boosted by a $1.5 million increase in collections for disputed local exchange carrier revenues, CT Communications reported $40 million in revenue for the second quarter.

The total is an 8 percent increase over the same quarter in 2002. Other revenue increases were reported from access lines, which grew 13 percent, and an additional $800,000 growth in wireless revenues.
However, Concord Telephone, one of CT Communication’s holdings, reported a 4 percent decrease in access lines.

Net income was $10.4 million, or 55 cents per share.
