BB&T International Services today said it has introduced a new Web-based trade tool for importers and exporters. TradeAssist is designed to help BB&T’s commercial and corporate clients manage their international transactions through the BB&T Web site.
“TradeAssist provides our valued international clients a powerful tool to manage both import and export transactions through a single integrated system,” said BB&T International Services Manager John Morton. “Our goal is to continually make these transactions easier for our clients.”
Importers can use TradeAssist to issue letters of credit, receive
collection notices, track documents and transactions, and more.
Exporters can use it to receive letters of credit, initiate collections, track documents, and more.
Importers and exporters can both use TradeAssist to check the status of
transactions, create and maintain templates, and communicate directly with BB&T International Services through a built-in Inbox function.
Charlotte-based BB&T International Services provides import and export
services to small business, middle-market and corporate clients.
