David Schwickerath. A former executive with Starbase Corporation and Borland software, is the new vice president of worldwide sales for Lancope.
Schwickerath, who has more than 25 years of experience in sales and management, will be responsible for leading worldwide direct and channel sales for the network security firm, Lancope said.
“Dave’s extensive knowledge of the technology software, hardware and consulting sales process brings a critical advantage to Lancope,” said Harland LaVigne, president and chief executive officer of Lancope, in a statement. “He will work directly with our sales teams and resellers to generate additional momentum for direct and channel sales, while continuing to position Lancope as the leading provider of solutions that enable customers to effectively secure and manage their networks.”
