BURLINGTON,Jenny Kobin, one of the better-known communications and investor relations managers in the Triangle, is moving on.
Kobin was announced Tuesday as the new director of investor relations and corporation communications for TriPath Imaging.
“We are very pleased to have Jenny join our team,” said Paul Sohmer, chairman and chief executive officer of TriPath Imaging. “Given the strength of her investor relations experience and her contacts within the investment community, we believe that Jenny will significantly enhance our ability to fulfill our ongoing commitment to effectively communicate regarding our performance and future prospects.”
Kobin previously served in a similar position for SciQuest in Research Triangle Park.
Kobin also recently worked for National Commerce Financial Corporation, Bank of America, and JC Bradford & Co.
While in RTP, Kobin also was a co-founder and former president of the National Investor Relations Institute RTP chapter. She also helped start the NIRI chapter in Charlotte. She earned her MBA at UNC Chapel Hill.
