CUMMINGS,PlanetLink, which offers satellite-based Internet and other services, is moving to direct marketing rather than maintaining its own sales force.
The company will use Market One Direct for a faxed-based sales program, having replaced its own direct sales and marketing programs. PlanetLink said it would distribute up to 100,000 marketing pieces a week via fax.
PlanetLink is a distributor across the Southeast for EchoStar Communication’s DISH satellite services such as TV and high-speed Internet broadband. It also offers Global Positioning System personal tracking devices.
