US LEC, a provider of telecommunications and Internet services across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, continues to add manufacturing companies as customers.

US LEC had some 480 manufacturing clients through 2001 and now has nearly doubled that total.

According to Fred Mannara, senior vice president for US LEC, the company is growing because of a commitment to service across numerous markets.

Customers also value our effort to understand their industry and develop solutions tailored to their needs,” he said in a statement. “This is why US LEC’s vertical marketing strategy produces results in many business sectors, including manufacturing. In addition to the manufacturing sector, US LEC targets mid-to-large sized business customers in other selected vertical industries, including the automotive, construction, education, entertainment, financial, government, healthcare, hospitality, professional/legal, real estate and transportation sectors.
