WILMINGTON,CSS Informatics, Inc, a consulting firm acquired by PPD in 2002, will be the name for consolidated informatics services from PPD.
PPD (Nasdaq: PPDI) said the Complete Software Solutions Informatics division would offer products such as eLoader, an automated means of loading external data into Oracle Clinical software, and PPD’s Patient Profiles, a graphic display technology used in drug safety evaluation.
“Integration of our informatics groups enhances our ability to serve our clients across key markets,” said Larry Kaufman, vice president of CSS Informatics, in a statement. “We look forward to continuing our success by providing clients with the high quality tools and services they have learned to expect, while helping them reduce costs and improve their clinical and safety data handling and validation.”
