Alveolus, which develops non-vascular stent technology, has created a physician advisory board. The company said the group will assist in its plans to develop and introduce gastrointestinal products beginning next year.
The board members includes eight gastrointestinal experts from Charleston SC (two), Scottsdale AZ, Hong Kong, Clemson University, Boston, Houston and Chicago.
Alveolus recently won FDA approval for a stent device to be used in lung cancer patients.
