EarthLink will use routes from Netopia as it rolls out its extended DSL service.
The Netopia R5300 is part of EarthLink’s solution to overcome distance limits on DSL service as typically provided by local telephone companies, the company said. It also offers Internet connections up to 1.5 mbps, secure virtual private network solutions, and built-in firewall protection.
