Internet Security Systems has upgraded its Dynamic Threat Protection platform as a step to improve network and server protection against outside threats, the company said Tuesday.

ISS has improved vulnerability protection for networks through Internet Scanner 7.0 and host protection with RealSecure Server 7.0 and RealSecure Desktop 7.0. The upgrades bring ISS products in line with a “common practice engine that detects, prevents and responds to threats,” the company said. The changes also are designed to reduce false alarms.
