The North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance recently released version 2.0 of its EarlyViewT Security software. It is designed to offer providers of healthcare, plans and clearinghouses a means of checking on Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act rules and compliance.
Deadline for full HIPAA compliance is April 20, 2005.
