RTP TV’S latest program features a tour of the labs at Norak Biosciences.
Norak is a Duke University spin-out biotech firm that uses a unique fluorescent technology to help drug targets in cells that regulate G protein-coupled receptors (GPCR’s). Drugs that regulate GPCR’s account for a majority of all of the prescription drugs on the market and Norak is running assays on over 40,000 potential drug compounds a day using this process.
