Seeking to offer business clients lower costs but higher speeds for bandwidth, US LEC is offering a Multilink Frame Relay (MFR) offering as part of recent upgrades in its network.
US LEC (Nasdaq: CLEC) said it is the first competitive local exchange carrier to offer the service.
Through changes made in its network to help support the service, US LEC said customers also don’t have to purchase additional equipment and can add circuits as needed. MFR is available in all markets serviced by its 26 switches from Lucent. MFR supports speeds up to 12 megabits per second.
