The North Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Association, working with Congressman Brad Miller and US Senator John Edwards, has won a $248,000 technology grant for a demonstration project at Oak Lane Elementary School in Hurdle Mills.
NCEITA won a similar grant last year for Efland-Cheeks elementary in Efland.
In order to receive the grants, schools must go through a competitive process set up by NCEITA.
The grants cover five years.
