Three experts studying the possibility of artificial human organs will discuss the issue on Wednesday in a forum organized by The MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta.
Speakers include Dr. Robert Nerem, director of bioengineering and bioscience at Georgia Tech, Dr. David Levine, vice president of research for Genzyme, and Dr. Linda Griffith, deputy director of the biotechnology process engineering center at MIT.
The session will be at the GCATT Auditorium, 250 14th Street NW, in Atlanta.
The MIT Atlanta group is one of 24 volunteer organizations across the country built around MIT graduates.
