A Virginia-based law firm with an office in Durham has launched a new practice group focused on the emerging field of nanotechnology.
Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis LLP has put together a team of nine lawyers, scientists and patent agents to focus on research and development and business issues related to nanotechnology.
Michael Savage, a partner of the firm in Durham, and Stephen Tytran, an associate in that office, are part of the group.
