Datamation Names SAS Text Miner as Best Product

Datamation, a web site focused on data mining and business intelligence software, has named SAS Text Miner as its data mining and business intelligence Product of the Year.

The SAS product received nearly half the votes on judges. BI Series 7 software from Cognos was second. Other finalists included HyperVu from Corvu Corp., dfPower Studio 5.0 from SAS subsidiary DataFlux, and Segment Manager from digiMine.
