CapitolSouth Partners, a private equity firm with offices in Charlotte, Raleigh and Tampa, recently closed on its second fund totaling $80 million.
CapitolSouth, launched in 1998, provides capital to middle-market companies in the Southeast. It manages more than $120 million capital.
The firm looks to invest in companies that have $1 million or more in revenue and show positive growth. It also works with management buyouts, acquisitions and recapitalizations.
CapitalSouth also is interested in mezzanine rounds of up to $10 million.
