ENGLEWOOD,ICG communications, which provides a variety of Internet and other services with operations in Atlanta, said it would cut its 1,156 member workforce by 20 percent by the end of June.
The company cited “price erosion, over capacity and decreasing demand particularly in wholesale services” as reasons for the cutbacks.
ICG operates a nationwide fiber network with operations in more than 30 cities.
