The US Food and Drug Administration has licensed SAS software for use at FDA centers, an addition to a contract SAS signed with US Health and Human Services in 2000.
FDA centers that will use SAS scientific intelligence solutions include Biologics Evaluation and Research, Devices and Radiological Health, Drug Evaluation and Research, Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine and Toxicological Research.
SAS applications to be used include Scientific Discovery Solutions, Enterprise Miner and Text Miner.
