Air2Web, a wireless application provider, is moving to make Instant Messaging secure for both public and corporate applications.
The company has released 2IM for use with Palm, RIM, and Cingular Wireless myBiz pagers. Services for other devices will be added later.
Air2Web says it offers security in two ways — through certificates for user authentication and message encryption.
