FBI Director Robert Mueller presented Joan Myers, president and chief executive officer of NCEITA, with a plaque and publicly recognized the organization’s commitment to the InfraGard project on Wednesday.
The North Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Association has supported quite actively the InfraGard project, which is a collaborative effort by the FBI and various businesses, associations, states and academic institutions to increase security of information technology infrastructure.
Mueller pointed out that North Carolina has two InfraGard chapters and added that the state has the largest InfraGard program in the country.
