CyberStarts, a three-year-old firm that provides a variety of financial services technology, is buying certain assets of BillServe, an electronic bill presentment and payment provider in San Antonio.
CyberStarts said it would pay $4.8 million for the assets. BillServe will continue operations until the deal is closed then focus on its bills.com consumer bill payment site and servicing BillServ customers overseas.
CyberStarts, a holding company, operates three business units: FiWare, Bridium and Edebt.
