Borders Group is teaming up with T-Mobile USA to provide wireless Internet access at its bookstores in Georgia and several other states.
The T-Mobile HotSpot service, which uses 802.11b high-speed wireless standard, also is available in Borders locations in California, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, Texas and Washington.
Borders plans to have the wireless service in the majority of its 410 locations across the US by mid-June.
A variety of plans are available from T-Mobile for access to its network, including pay-as-you-go and an unlimited access plan for $29.99.
