Chief financial officers from a number of Piedmont firms have formed a Triad CFO Roundtable group. It will have its first meeting on April 22.
Triad CFO Roundtable is open to CFOs of companies with revenues between $5 million and $50 million.
Partnering to form the group are Grant Thornton, Kindermusik International, Senn Dunn Marsh and Roland, Smith Moore, RBC Centura Bank and Piedmont Entrepreneurs Network.
“PEN wants to replicate the results of the Piedmont Triad Life Science CEO Roundtable,” said Ted Thomas, tax senior manager of Grant Thornton in Greensboro. The CEO group has been meeting since December of 2001. “Now, these companies are doing business with each other, helping with biotech economic development, and becoming more profitable.”
The CFOs plan to meet every two months.
