The management team of Pinkerton Compliance Services has bought the business unit from Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations.
Clifford Thomas, president of the group, said the move was made with the financial backing of Angelo, Gordon & Co. and Coda Capital, Inc.
Terms were not disclosed.
Pinkerton Compliance Services provides information services for ethics, compliance and prevention markets. It has been in business for more than 20 years. Its AlertLine group has more than 800 clients that use confidential hotlines. According to the company, nearly half of Fortune 100 companies use its services.
