Two deals for Charlotte firm highlight the latest venture capital action in North Carolina.
Charlotte, Piedmont angels joined individuals and company management in $2 million in B-round financing for AvidXchange, which focuses on invoicing software.
Trinity Security, which provides integrated fire, security and communications systems for commercial firms, recently closed on a $1.5 million investment from Venture Capital Solutions of Winston-Salem.
Also, USA Staffing in Greensboro closed on $4 million, according to the Triad Business Journal. Investors include Venture Capital Solutions and Argosy Investment Partners II in Pennsylvania.
North Carolina firms have generated 14 deals worth $92 million.
