Nando Media, the interactive media division of the McClatchy Company, has selected Springboard Managed Hosting to host its web site.
Nando provides a variety of Internet publishing solutions to more than 50 newspapers and maintains another web hosting operation on the West Coast. McClatchy owns The News & Observer in Raleigh.
Springboard will provide for Nando a secure area for more than 100 servers as well as 30 mbps of bandwidth.
“We evaluated each potential partner’s experience, technology, infrastructure, financial position, and perceived understanding of our business,” said James Calloway, business development manager of Nando Media. “At the end of the day, the fact Springboard was profitable and had a more mature product offering was the deal closer over the other local providers.”
