Red Hat took another step into the enterprise market Tuesday, introducing its “Red Hat Ready” independent software vendor application program.
The intent is to let vendors test and qualify applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
“Recent research by Evans Data discovered that 59 percent of all developers plan to write Linux applications in the next year,” said Mark de Visser, vice president for marketing at Red Hat, in a statement. “The Red Hat Ready program has been created to address this demand.”
