Randy Choplin, chief executive officer of WindChannel, is looking to make “connections” at the first “Tech Exec” networking event on April 10 at the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce.

“The Tech Exec is about bringing together C-level technology leaders together in a social environment to not only talk about our business, but to collectively take our business to the next level,” said Choplin. WindChannel is one of the event’s sponsors. “We have a great deal to learn from one another and foster relationships for the long term.

“If you look at the opportunity to get into a social environment and build rapport with people that are experiencing the same business pains and challenges you are, that’s a connection.”

“The Tech Exec” is a joint effort from Local Tech Wire and ClearImagePR. Other sponsors include Peak 10, Insignia MetaPartners and the Morrisville Chamber.

“There’s plenty of networking events. I mean, in the Triangle you could attend something each evening,” Choplin said. “The Tech Exec is a concentrated opportunity to get together with peers and strategic partners. It’s a non-diluted event.

“I look at The Tech Exec as a gateway for companies to be part of each other and we’re thrilled to sponsor of this type of activity that literally bridges technology executives together.”

“Tech Exec” will be April 10 at the new state-of-the-art Morrisville Chamber of Commerce facility beginning at 6 PM.

There is no charge to attend, but registration is requested.
