Brickstream Corporation closed on $6.2 million last week, boosting Georgia’s venture capital total for the year to some $46 million.

Prenova, formerly known as Service Resources, closed on a new round of financing the previous week worth $15.5 million. That’s the biggest Georgia deal thus far.

Georgia is still off the pace of 2002 when 15 deals worth $150 million were closed by March 16.
