A cell line developed by Tranzyme, a biotechnology firm which recently relocated to RTP from Alabama, may be part of an AIDS vaccine, the company said Thursday.
Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, utilizing the Tranzyme cell line, have developed a novel assay that could lead to development of an AIDS vaccine, Tranzyme said. The research was published in the journal Nature on Thursday.
